ATLANTA, GA, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2018—Guide My H.E.A.R.T. hosted the Ladies in R.E.D. (Ready to Empower & Dominate) Luncheon at Mary Mac’s Tea Room in Atlanta.
This event was not only a fellowship and networking with the women entrepreneurs, business owners, and Non-Profit Founders of Atlanta but also an official launch and introduction to Guide My H.E.A.R.T. Organization. Founded by Syreeta Ziegler, who is also the Executive Director and hosted the event, Guide My H.E.A.R.T. is a nonprofit for teen girls and women promoting self-love, good health, energy, ambition, healthy relationships, and good use of time.
The women empowerment luncheon featured two beautiful music selections from rising gospel artist Anjolic Sky, grace & prayer from the Vice Chair of board members, Lanota Fludd, and inspiring words from the keynote speaker, award winning international speaker, Fiona Small, CEO and Founder of Young Mums Support Network of London, UK, Fiona Small.
In conversational style, Fiona shared how she was able to accomplish so much with her Young Mums Support group in a short timeline, the importance of working together as women and how we have to make each connection count. The audience was truly impacted and Ready to Empower and Dominate after hearing her personal testimony. It was also announced that Fiona would be joining the board as the International Advisor .
Other featured guests included Dr. Stephanie Ricks, Founder of the Ricks Shaw Foundation (a charity to help teens attend an HBC college on full scholarship) and Atlanta's own talk show hosts, Latonya Lyke and Rae Fortes of “Let's Get Personal with Latonya and Rae” which is featured on WorldStar Hit Radio weekly.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was a thought-provoking video compilation of testimonies and experiences from other women. The video also included personalized messages to Syreeta Ziegler of
Guide My H.E.A.R.T. and the “Ladies in R.E.D.” from Bravo Network celebrities Cynthia Bailey, Dr. Jackie Walters, Gizelle Bryant, and Ashley Darby.
This event was not only empowering to all the women with various inspirational messages and testimonies, it was also the official launch of the non-profit Guide My H.E.A.R.T. with a brief summary of what the organization planned to do in 2019 and beyond which will include: counseling programs for teen girls and women, speaking engagements on healthy dating, a talent showcase for teen girls, assistance with women in transition and on and local women shelters, and international partnerships with The Young Mums Support Network of the UK featuring a collaborative “Balance for Better Brunch” for International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2019 and Syreeta Ziegler serving on the board as the International Marketing Consultant.
